Tarasenko is one of those rivals you love to hate because he is so good. I miss that with Datsyuk being in the East now, not that I'm comparing the two other than that aspect. Hopefully, we can watch Tarasenko vs Forsberg for years to come. Other than that, it was a solid game. Both teams has some breakdowns, and both had some great plays. Roman Josi, though, had the pass of the game to spring Wilson free. Before Hook/wilson/smith line came together, I was worried about our top line carrying the load. Now, I feel that concern is way more justified for Blues fans concerning the STL line. Given it's a tall order, but they need their Yanks to start pulling their weight. It's going to be friggin miserable but great trying to keep competing with The Blues and the MillerLiteHawks down the stretch.

I feel the same way about Forsberg as you do concerning Tarasenko. I think he scores a goal every time the Blues play the Preds.

I was always an advocate of Trotz and didn't agree with the fans who always called for his firing but I really like the style of play Laviolette has the Predators playing now.

They are a handful and a lot more entertaining to watch.

"If you point at one thing the Predators did really well last night… it was creating turnovers. Each goal (and quite a few other scoring chances) were the result of turnovers, created by aggressive forechecking across all four lines. It is becoming a hallmark of this team and a key to their five-on-five success."

Along with Forsberg, the speed and tenacity of the forecheck is really fun to watch. With that goaltending, D and the top line, only a minimal amount of supplemental scoring is even necessary... especially if they reduce some of the turnovers.

The Blues have many issues, but it looks like the three-team battle this year in the Central includes a new team for sure.

Tarasenko creates a buzz in an arena when he touches the puck.... Much like PD#13 for the DRW.... he is a joy to watch as long as the Preds win

Yes, we probably could have beat the Leafs 13-2 had Radulov stayed
